How do I join the DEA Scheme?
Firstly, you need to have completed or undertaking the DipDEA Diploma. Those who have the DipHI qualification may also apply to a DEA scheme. If you do not have the DipDEA or DipHI qualificaiton please see our training pages. We encourage all applicants to send in their application forms with as much information as possible so we can start the accreditation process. Please mark on your forms if you are awaiting an item and when you think this will be forthcoming. We will then tie up the paperwork and complete the accreditation process.
You will need a valid (less than 3 months old) Basic Disclosure Certificate. This may be obtined directly from Disclosure Scotland or we can obtain one on your behalf for a small charge.
You will then need to complete the application form, read the associated documents carefully and return the form plus the items on the checklist (detailed on the appplication form) to us at the address on the application form.
Please contact us for the most up to date prices and special offers for DEAs
