EPCs for New Buildings
All new residential dwellings require an EPC on construction. Prior to construction a Predicted Energy Assessment is required for the HIP (new home for sale). New Homes for rent will also require an EPC.
For more information on the EPC / HIP and building regulation requirements for new dwellings please see the HIPs website and also the CLG website - Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and New Homes: A Builder's Guide
